Šentvid pri Grobelnem is a village in the Šmarje pri Jelšah municipality in eastern Slovenia. It lies on the Šmarje to Celje regional road. The area was traditionally part of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja statistical region.[2]
The local parish church from which the settlement gets its name is dedicated to Saint Vitus and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Celje. It is a medieval building that was rebuilt in the 17th century and extended and restyled in the 18th century.[3]
